I was browsing through youtube.com today.. So glad to find most of favorite Khmer songs there.. More special than that, I could even find my Lao friend Kai’s music video too.. For your information, Kai is a member of Overdance, one of the most popular pop bands in Laos. Besides having great beauty, Kai also has a great voice.. SSEAYP people are always cool. :)

Let’s check out one of her hot songs, Hoo Wa Huk Gun (ដឹងថាស្រឡាញ់គ្នា)

  1. Hi Mongkol,

The girl in the music video is also our SSEAYP member. She is ex-LPY 2003 and also Miss Lux Lao 2004.

    :D

  2. Oh really? That’s cool. :) She’s so pretty. By the way, Tui Overdance is also from SSEAYP 2003, was he? Hmmm.. Seems that many Lao PYs are superstars now…

  3. I’m a fan of Overdance. Kai is so talented. Wis Thai PYs had superstars in our batch, too, one day. hehehe…

  4. Mongkol, how to put this video in? pls tell me

  5. Well, You just paste this code into your post html:

  7. How come? Did you copy the right address? Make sure you paste the code in the HTML version, not the rich text one.. Try again..

  8. its working now mongkol,. thanks big big

  9. មិនអីទេបាទ។ រីករាយស្វាគមន៍ជានិច្ច។

  10. AWww the video is nice.. i never knew that Laos’s music is so similar to thai even the words.. if i dont listen carefully i would almost confuse with thai’s paroles .. and the guy is so cute in the video hehehe

  11. Well, Thai and Lao is 90% the same. Most Lao and Thai people can understand each other very well. The only difference is with the accent and pronunciation of certain words. For instance, the “ch” sound in Thai would be “s” in Lao. A good example of this is the word “people”. It is “prachachon” in Thaiand “pasason” in Lao.
