Wow, that is a very fantastic city ever imagined. I wish I could live to see and visit there..
Woww… that’s fantastic – the city of fantasy.
The oil-rich shiekdom has too much money. Therefore they can do anything they want!
its an old saying money doesnt buy you everything ( vanak) may be they got brain and know how to use their money wisely led them to this city which is going to be the world famouse one
It’s more like they got the money to hire the brains to do the work for them. Why bother ? When you’re so rich! You’d employ doctors, surgeons, engineers, artchitects or any other other experts at your disposal.
Look very cool and i really wanna be there! But need lots of money!
WHEN WE LIVE IN A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY TO SEE ALL THESE AMAZING PROJECTS GIVES US THE HOPE THAT SOMEDAY WE WILL BE JUST FINE. CONGRATULATIONS AND YOU PEOPLE ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
There are 3 palm islands over there, not only one. The one that we saw on National Geographic or Discovery is the small one. They are now constructing the big one. I’m sure that you know where I get this Information from…. hehehe
i think this sounds absaloyly fab!! wen im older i want to live on a private isladn!!!WOW ITS SOOOOOOOOOOO COOL!!
xxx

man its dubai………there is no place in the world as exotic and special as this…though americans boast abt their disney land (gosh).but can they ever build something like this..and the answer is no
i have been to places but have seen nothing parrell to such a special place
I just bought 3 condos in sports city and can’t wait till they’re done. Dubai, here I come.
These are fantastic – very interesting idea – we ought to try that in the gulf states
this sucks y cant they create this in america
No Money, who would invest in such development in the USA?
No Demand, though certain cities are currently in a building boom w/ condo’s & such, there jsut aren’t enough buyers to warrent numerous super-talls in such a dense area.
The closest thing you see to this in america is what Trump is doing. He has buildings in multiple cities & has more proposed. but even what he builds is in scale w/ the market each building is in.
They are building & deeveloping like this because they are just so damn rich from all of the oil that we buy that they can afford to what they want…
is this person the richest person in the world?
This is a wonderful website. At least the UAE has recognized that the oil is going to run out, and they are looking to their future as a global tourist site. It would be nice if the USA (and other gas-guzzeling countries) could have such foresight. I can’t wait to visit Dubai.
Fucking amazing! Im for sure going there on spring break!! Any clue on how much a trip from USA would cost?
man if only this was in the u.s. i’d go there everyday!!! freakin’ good stuff!!!
If those designs become real, i would visit them some time.
I realy like the architecture of the buildings. You would never find these buildings near by Belgium. So i Like to say Good work Dubai
I’m sorry guy I’ve been there, and I know that Dubai is NOT an “Oil-rich city” as has been said on the news lately. They are rich not because we buy their oil, they are rich because they know how to use money.
When you’re in the city you’ll feel like the city is being run by robots not humans.
We could’ve used the money we’re spending on Iraq to create our own “Dubai” or maybe do the millions and millions of other better things.
if only government officials in the Philippines were not so corrupt & evil, maybe we can have at least 1% of the progress Dubai has right now!!!
well the credit goes to the expatriate population of India.Though its their money, the brainwork behind is that mainly of them.Cheers to them
Well, Acturally Dubai is just starting. Just wait until you see the next projects! And it not just dubai, there is another city down south which will do even more cooler projects. People concern that there is too much building and if there is enough people to buy all those condos and villas, etc. Well the answer is “YES”. I have been watching the news on closely and I think all the apartments in Burj Dubai that went on sell for only 20 minutes and *ALL* of them sold out! WOW!
There will be a shift in population. There are many Chinese moving over to Dubai and Japanese are EXTREMELY interested in getting property.
One more thing, if you want to go to dubai, I suggest you wait until 2010. There is just too much construction going on. Besides, I think you need to save your pennies for that trip!
Hey where is all of this? HOw did ya’ll make this?
Its just great, if some of you are familiar with Dubai, can you please let me know if there is a good school to do a one year MBA or Msc in Finance I want to live there for a year. Im from Mexico.
[...] only two-thirds completed. That is the country that is making this And they have all this Dubai Project: City of the Future M|O|N|G|K|O|L theres a pic of that tower there. Must be cool living in that country, the damn money is flowing [...]
Nice. Even I have compiled such a list of 24 of the most amazing future projects going on in Dubai! Link: http://www.sizzledcore.com/2008/03/26/24-amazing-future-projects-of-dubai/
keep on dubai! u are giving a wonderful answer to so much proud american civilisation!( how could they build such things in america when they are continously messing with iraq)
I can foresee what a great city Dubai is going to be. By the year 2015
Dubai is going to be the envy not only of its its gulf countries but will be one of the most desired cities to live in. It will cater to every ones need. Bravo to sheikh Mohdammed who is the greatest developer , visionaire extra ordinaire.
Dubai will be the envy of all the world.By 2115 it will be greater than
New york and Singapore ! I am glad i bought an apartment in the old town. Long live the great visionary Sheikh Mohamed who is making it all possible. Where any other man could see with a five year plan , the Great is light years ahead of all.
Yahy
hi wehave some one can halp me to rait تعبير بي ENGعن دبي
Nice aspiration… but let’s talk demographics. Are there really that many of the financial elite that they need so many luxury hotels? The average person can’t/won’t travel that far to spend so much money. It’s very ambitious, I will give Dubai that. But I think they might be exceeding the available market share in the area. Only a limited amount of people visit Dubai anyway (on account of their strict laws regarding morality and women), and as the economy changes, trends suggest the difference between the financial elite and the lower class will decrease (meaning we’ll all end up more or less in the middle). In other words, they’re building something no one needs or will visit. Good luck to them though, it will be neat to see!
that is a place that should be on everyones travel list
Great imagination! (To whoever had the idea) but not so much environmentally friendly. Whats the point of making something so beautiful when the world could end.
