hi there, the laptop, hmm, i think its great to own it , oh, i’ve seen the one which look like glass, sooo amazing, really is a renovation!!! the latest mac is also great, so slim , ultra slim i bet.. … the thing is can u afford it???
>>Joy: MacBook Air is slim, light and cool, but it isn’t very worth it. It comes with a very small HDD and doesn’t have both a DVD drive and an ethernet port. Supposedly everything is done wirelessly – which isn’t very practical if I am to use it in Cambodia. Although slightly more expensive, MacBook pro is still way better in many ways.
>>Rod: I’m doing good here. How about yourself? It’s been a while since we last chatted. Hope all is well on your end.
>>Mengho: The one I’m currently looking at is around $1900. It is 15.4″ and has a 2.4 GHz Core Due processor, 2GB RAM, 250 GB HDD, a multi-touched mousepad and a backlight keyboard. It is only 0.2 kg heavier than my current 13″ Macbook.
>>Chea: That’s the problem. Trying to save up now. Do you have any money for me to borrow?
hmm, oh, $$$, i run short recently, i gota work my way hard 2 earn cent by cent, lolz. it’s ok price for u i guess, for sony vaio at ur requirement is about the same price i think, go for mac then.:)
>>Vutha: I got back two months ago Bong. Are you coming to the BarCamp meeting this Sunday afternoon? Hope to see you there.
>>Miss Tda: We do have a few of them in Phnom Penh, but they ain’t cheaper than OZ. I’m thinking of getting one from the US as I can get a good student rate there. Plus a good friend of mine is visiting Cambodia next month, so she can bring one down with her.
>>Chea: Sony is cool but not my type. I don’t like PC anymore ever since I started using Mac.
My dream laptop is ThinkBook. I love the best keyboard in the world of ThinkPad, not to mention that its classic design touches me most. I thought Apple, not Chinese Lenovo, should have acquired the business computer line from IBM. And then Apple can put together both the great reputation of ThinkPad with Apple’s style and culture. And this dream laptop is called: ThinkBook.
Mongkol, you want a new one already. I’ve been using mine for over 3 years now and still loving it (or maybe I can’t afford a new one yet hehe). The common problems found on all Mac laptops are heat and noise tho but i guess you can’t really get a perfect machine. Apart from those problems, it’s all sweet.
There’s a still a myth that macs are expensive than pcs (and macs are for graphic people). It’s not true anymore. With the same spec, some pcs can be more expensive than mac (PCWorld said so) and plus macs come with awesome productivity tools right from the start. And if you’re a programmer, mostly likely you won’t have to install any interpreters or compilers. Call me a flipper if you think i’m biased hehehe.
It should be a great computer… how about the new Air? Its slimmer.
have you seen the new Air? How are you doing Mr.?
Wow, look cool. It must be expensive, rite? How much does it cost?
Ooooh, we have the same dream!
